On Thursday I met some ladies from the playgroup at the Children's Grand Park. It's a great Park with two big playgrounds, a zoo, botanical gardens and an amusement park. When I left home I thought I had ample time to get there, but Seoul decided to run an earthquake drill that morning and at 10am all traffic was forced to a standstill. I sat for a good 15 minutes without even rolling forward. Once we were allowed to resume driving there was so much congestion and traffic, I thought I'd never get to the park. I finally got there with just enough time for Brandon to have short play and some lunch before I had to take him home for his nap. So Brad and I decided to try again early on Saturday morning. We had to go early because it gets crazy busy on weekends. Some people we know went a few weekends ago and it took them 2 hours to get out of the carpark and another hour to get home. We were hoping to avoid this kind of situation by beating the crowds. It was a good morning, Brandon loved looking at the animal in the small zoo. Unfortunately the zoo wasn't the best we'd ever seen, the leapords were horribly overweight and the lions had a very small enclosure. Even the little foxes in the children's zoo were a bit mangy. We then took Brandon to the playground for a run around. By the time we left, the queue of cars waiting to get into the car park was 3 blocks deep. It's insane, the car park was full so they will just sit and wait for a car to leave before they're allowed in. The people in those cars have no idea how long the wait will be, it could be hours.
